Return Policy

LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY ON REFURBISHED AND REPAIRED EQUIPMENT

All refurbished equipment sold and equipment serviced (repaired) by CIS is patient-ready and is warranted to be free from defects in both materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days unless otherwise specified on invoice. Parts, accessories and internal batteries are covered by a 90-day limited warranty unless otherwise specified. Any stated warranties are in effect from the date of sale, or shipment of repaired equipment. CIS reserves the right to repair, replace or refund (less cost of shipping) any item(s) requiring warranty service. The customer is responsible for contacting CIS regarding shipping prior to shipping the item(s) back.

This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been altered (including tampering with warranty stickers) or modified from its original design, or has been abused, misused, damaged, or improperly installed.

Return Material Authorization (RMA) Policy

In the event the product is found to be defective during the warranty period, CIS, at its discretion, will repair or replace the product or refund the original purchase price.  All products returned by the purchaser due to a warranty claim will be transportation prepaid by CIS. Accordingly, the purchaser will not be required to pay for freight for the replacement product. The purchaser must contact CIS at 1-866-446-8765 for an RMA number prior to the product being returned. If an RMA number is not provided and the product is returned anyway, the warranty is voided.

Return Procedure

1)  Package the unit safely, preferably using the original box and packing materials or equivalent. CIS will not accept or send out parts separate from the unit. This warranty will not apply where the product is damaged due to improper packaging.

2) Include the following:

  • The RMA number supplied by CIS clearly marked on the outside of the box.

  • A return address where the unit can be shipped. Post office boxes are not acceptable.

  • A contact telephone number where you can be reached during work hours.

  • A brief description of the problem.

3) Ship the unit per instructions from your CIS customer service representative.

4) The customer must notify CIS of a return within seven days of receiving the item. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee (in case of non-warranty returns).

Other than to replace, repair or refund, Cryogenic Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for any cost or expense including without limitation, labor expense, in connection with the removal, replacement or adjustment of alleged defective equipment or any part of thereof, nor for incidental or consequential damages of any kind.

This limited warranty is expressly provided by CIS in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and in connection with all other obligations or liabilities on the company’s part. CIS neither assumes nor authorizes any representative or other persons to assume for it, any other liability in connection with the sale of its product. In no event will CIS be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damage, losses, costs or expenses including however arising without restriction any economic losses of any kind, any loss or damage to property, any personal injury, and damage or injury arising from or as a result of misuse or abuse, or the incorrect installation, integration or operation of the product.
